Maciej Drozdz

Dr. Maciej Drozdz, MBA has over 15 years of experience spanning biotechnology investment, company creation, and technology commercialization. Throughout his career, he has held roles as an investor, board member, and operating executive across a range of life science companies. Trained as a scientist, he earned a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Heidelberg and an MBA from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. Maciej has held senior positions at Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation, Entrepreneurs Fund, and Atlas Venture, where he led investments, served on multiple boards, and supported companies from early formation through clinical development, IPO, and successful exits. His expertise includes mergers and acquisitions, private and public equity investing, portfolio management, and full profit-and-loss responsibility across biotech, medtech, and digital health.
